Coming up on Tuesday, July 14, Avera is offering it’s annual Physicals event for athletes from 3:30-6:30 and it’s an easy way to get the physical done for the upcoming school year.
You can pre-schedule the physicals during the time by calling 605-945-5246 and the cost is $35 not submitted to insurance. You will need to complete the paperwork beforehand and bring with you which can be found on the South Dakota High School Activities Association website or by printing the form at the bottom of this story. Physical forms will also be available on site at the event. Parent and legal guardian must accompany any student under the age of 18. Vaccinations will be offered if athlete is due and can be billed to insurance so bring your insurance card and this is only a basic athletic physical. Athletes with chronic medical issues need to schedule an appointment with their provider during regular clinic hours to address those issues.
To help make check-in and registration as smooth as possible on the clinic night, Avera strongly encourages all families to download and activate their Avera MyChart account before arriving.
The clinic is Tuesday, July 14 from 3:30-6:30 at 801 E. Sioux Avenue in Pierre.
