Pierre native, Ridge Leimbach would make his debut for the Oahe Zap on Sunday and after five innings on the mound, he would be the winning pitcher in the 10-8 Zap victory of the Casper Spuds.
Oahe would drop the first two games of the series with 8-5 and 5-4 losses as the Zap had leads in both games, but were unable to hold onto them with the Spuds scoring five runs in the fourth on Friday to help seal a win and then scoring in the eighth of the second game on Saturday to move to 2-0. But in game three, while the Zap would go down early, they would score five runs in the second and another two in the third to lead 7-2 after three innings to give Leimbach the run support as he went five innings on the mound giving up five hits, three runs, two earned on five walks and seven strikeouts.
