Thursday would end the regular season for a lot of teams, including those at the Central Plains Super Regional Meet in Gettysburg which saw Sully Buttes and Stanley County as some of those local teams.
Sully Buttes
The Sully Buttes Chargers would get a total of seven top five finishes, all from the boys side with its best finish by Jackson Paxton getting second in the long jump and the team of Hudson Barber, Zack Weinheimer, Kadyn Westergren and Carson Mercer getting second in the 4×200 relay. Westergren would get third in the shot put as would Jett Yackley in the javelin. Easton Moore would be fourth in the discus throw and Barber, Weinheimer, Bretton Barber and Mercer would get fourth in the 4×100. The Charger girls would get its best finish from Jaycee Jaeger, Harmony Cook, Molly Mercer and Madison Millage getting sixth in the 4×100.
Stanley County
The Stanley County Buffaloes would get a win from Jaxton Hoftiezer in the discus throw while Trevor Caldwell would get second in the shot put and Jace Hand second in the javelin. Justin Trebbe would be third in the 400 meters while Wesley Stevens, Eddie Duffy, Ryland Magee and Trebbe would be third in the 4×200 relay and Paxton Deal, Landon Bame, Brendon Bothwell and Magee would be third in the sprint medley relay. Duffy would also get fourth in the triple jump to round out the top five for the boys. Two third place finishes for the Lady Buffs as Brianna Sargent, Brylee Larson, Austyn Norman and Addy Deal in the 4×200 and Sargent, Norman, Deal and Lillian Luce in the 4×400 would both get third.
