The Stanley County Buffaloes will be on the road to Kimball today for its final track and field meet before the Super Regional Meet next week with just two weeks before the state meet.
It’s the second meet of the week for the Buffs who had a win in the sprint medley relay race with Paxton Deal, Landon Bame, Brendon Bothwell and Ryland Magee in Pierre at the Capital City Qualifier. Stanley County will look to add on to the win total today with 11 total teams competing including Mitchell from Class AA and Chamberlain and Mount Vernon/Plankinton from Class A. The remaining seven teams are from Class B with some being a part of the Super Regional meet next week. It’s a big opportunity to gain on times and distances and pick up some wins for the Buffaloes with the season winding down with it being two weeks from today being the start of the state track and field meet.
The field events begin at 9:00 AM with the track events starting at 12:00 at the Houda Athletic Field in Kimball.
