The Miller Rustlers will be at home today hosting its track and field invite, the first home meet of the season after the Booster Club Relays were canceled earlier in April.
The Rustlers will be joined by 10 other teams with Stanley County and Redfield coming to town from Class A. Gettysburg, Hoven and Lyman will be three local teams in Class B as Faulkton Area, James Valley Christian, McLaughlin, Sunshine Bible Academy and Wolsey-Wessington round out the 11 total teams at today’s event. Most of the teams had at least a couple of athletes competing this past weekend at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays. There’s just about three weeks until the state meets and nearly two weeks until the regional meets.
The field events begin at 10:00 AM with the track events to start at 12:00 at Miller High School.
