A big weekend for the Pierre Governor tennis team who went 4-0 in Sioux Falls beating Milbank 8-1, Vermillion 7-2, Madison 5-4 and also beat Aberdeen Roncalli.
Brady Lowery in flight three and Marty Blanchette in flight six would each go 4-0 in singles matches for the Governors as it will be a big confidence build with just a week left in the regular season before the ESD tournament where the Govs played all Class A opponents this past weekend. Lowery and Blanchette went completely undefeated as Lowery went 4-0 in doubles flight two with Levi Hight and Blanchette with Jacoby LaRoche would not lose in doubles flight three. Noah Lueking in flight two would go 3-1 over the weekend and Lucas Hight would only have on loss in flight one.
It puts Pierre at now 9-9 on the season in duals and Pierre has won eight of the last ten overall. The Govs will host its annual tournament invite coming up this weekend starting on Thursday.
