The Pierre Governor golf team quickly was back on the course on Thursday in Aberdeen with Hadley Hart having the best finish for Pierre tying for ninth place.
Hart would shoot 11 over par, 83 to tie for ninth place, three shots back of eighth and five shots back of a top five finish. Kyley Wirebaugh would beat teammate Olivia Braun with a three under par, 69, one shot better than her teammate. Aberdeen Central had four of the top six finishers on their home course. Sittie Kasan would be in 24th at 26 over par, 98 and Drew Rechtenbaugh would place 28th shooting a 103. With only three competing for Pierre, they would not be eligible for the team score, but the Golden Eagles would easily win it at just seven over par, 295 for the four scoring. Mitchell would be second at 35 over par, 323.
The Governors will be back in action on Monday in Sioux Falls at Willow Run.
