PIERRE, (KCCR) — Candidates for office on the east side of the Missouri River got their turn in front of constituents and possible voters Monday night as the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce hosted candidate forums at the Ramkota in Pierre. Other forums included candidate for District 24 House and Senate, Pierre School Board and Hughes County Commission. Hughes County Sheriff candidate Jeff Metzinger didn’t answer questions but did give a statement about what he wants to do as Sheriff.
