The Muskegon Lumberjacks and Dubuque Fighting Saints will battle for the other spot in the Eastern Conference Finals of the USHL playoffs tonight as the two teams square off in Dubuque for game five.
The Fighting Saints have won games one and three while Muskegon won game two and four getting a 4-2 win on Saturday to extend the series to the fifth game. Muskegon is looking to reach its third straight Eastern Conference finals and are still the defending Clark Cup Champions from the 2024-25 season. Pierre’s Carter Sanderson, who missed this past weekend’s games, looks to be available and able to play tonight for the winner-take-all game. Sanderson has a goal in four games played to this point with six shots on goal.
The Sioux Falls Stampede will face the Lincoln Stars in game five of the Western Conference Semifinals in Sioux Falls tonight. The Stampede won game four to force a decisive game five as the Western Conference champions don’t want to fall short of the conference finals. The winner of that game will face the Fargo Force in the Western Conference Final. The winner of Muskegon and Dubuque will host the Madison Capitols in the Eastern Conference Finals.
