The Pierre Governor track and field team will be at home for the second time this season as the Govs are hosting the Legion Relays today, one day earlier than what was originally scheduled.
While the weather won’t be like it was on Wednesday, the better of the two days looks to be on Thursday instead of Friday where the meet was originally scheduled to be held. Pierre had to have the Bob Judson invite move six days later because of weather, but the Govs have been able to host now both of its events to this point. Pierre is hosting a total of 23 teams with Stanley County and Lyman coming from the local area. Pierre will compete against eight other AA teams including three of the four Sioux Falls public schools while Brandon Valley, Huron, Mitchell, Rapid City Central and Spearfish will be in attendance.
