The Pierre Governor tennis team will be at home for the first time this season as the Governors will host both the Brookings Bobcats and Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles in a triangular.
It’s also senior recognition day as the Governors will honor the lone season, Lucas Hight. Pierre will be looking for its second dual win of the year and first ESD victory on the season. Pierre is currently 0-3 in ESD duals and will face Class AA teams Brookings and Aberdeen Central today. The Bobcats are coming in at 0-4 in ESD contests and 2-7 last winning against Roosevelt on Tuesday. Aberdeen Central is 0-5 in ESD duals and are looking for just its second win of the season at 1-11, the lone win coming against Rapid City Central, who the Govs also beat.
The first dual between Pierre and Aberdeen Central will be at 10:00 AM this morning. Brookings and Aberdeen Central will dual second and then Pierre faces Brookings to close out the triangular with the senior recognition happening before the Govs and Bobcats battle at the Griffin Park Tennis Courts in Pierre.
