Both the Stanley County boys and girls track and field teams would finish in sixth place on Tuesday as the Buffs would finish with four wins overall on the day at the Big Dakota Conference Meet in Mobridge.
The Buffalo boys would get two wins as Jace Hand would win the javelin throw while Landon Bame, Brendon Bothwell, Paxton Deal and Justin Trebbe won the 4×400 relay race. The foursome also got second in the 4×200 while Deal was also second in long jump. Ryland Magee was second in the 800 meter run and third in the 1600 meter run.
For the Stanley County girls team, Austyn Norman, Brianna Sargent, Ryan Bothwell and Addy Deal would win both the 4×200 and 4×400 relay races for the two wins. Sargent was also second in the 400 meters and Taylor Barta was fifth in the discus throw. Brylee Larson, Emily Nemec, Saige Gruber and Tessa Peterson finished in fifth in the 4×100 relay.
