The Stanley County Buffalo track and field team would come away with five wins on the day in Mission at the Todd County Invite on Thursday as Trevor Caldwell grabbed two victories.
Caldwell would win both the shot put and discus throws for the Buffaloes while Jaxton Hoftiezer was second in the shot put and third in the discus throw. Justin Trebbe would win the long jump and then the team of Brylee Larson, Emily Nemec, Saige Gruber and Tessa Peterson would win the 4×200 relay race. The foursome also was third in the 4×100. Carlee Brady was second in the javelin through while Taylor Barta was fourth in the javelin and in the discus. Austyn Norman was third in the 400 meters and fifth in the 200 as Addy Deal was fifth in the 400. Back on the boys side, Landon Bame was fourth in the 100 while Brendon Bothwell was fifth, and then flip flopped in the 200 with Bothwell fourth and Bame fifth. The team of Trebbe, Ryland Magee, Eddie Duffy and Carson Bourne were second in the 4×400 and then Duffy, Bourne, Jack Deal and Ryder Roseland were fifth in the 4×100 and also had Magee fourth in the 800 meters and Keaten Metzler fourth in the javelin and fifth in the discus. Stanley County had a total of 22 top five finishes for the day.
The Jones County girls would win the team score and had eight individual wins. BreAna Aske had four wins with the long jump, 100, 200 and 400 meter runs. Aubrey Tucker would win the 800 meters along with the 4×800 with Addison Rankin, Julia Kinsley and Molly Nix. Nix would also win the 1600 meter run. Titan Eriksen was second in the high jump for the boys for their best finish.
