SIOUX FALLS, (KCCR) — A 66 year-old Pierre man is arrested on multiple charges by Sioux Falls police on Tuesday night. Sioux Falls Police Sergeant Aaron Benson says a resident called police around nine p-m that a juvenile had come to their home saying a male subject, who was a family member, had pointed a gun at them and drove around with the gun pointed at them. Officers spoke with the juvenile who told police they believed the suspect was drunk and had open containers in the vehicle. Benson says at some point, suspect took out the weapon and loaded it. The juvenile was on a phone at the time, when the suspect told the juvenile to end the call and turn off the phone. The suspect then pointed the gun at the juvenile several times including directly at the juvenile’s head while yelling at the juvenile. The suspect then released the juvenile who ran to the callers home. The suspect was located in Tea later in the evening. Maurice Robertson was arrested on charges including Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm By a Former Violent Offender and Second Offense D-U-I. The juvenile was not injured. Robertson was due in court Wednesday.
