The Stanley County Buffaloes competed on Tuesday in Mitchell at the DWU High School Indoor Open as Brianna Sargent had the highest finish with a top ten placement.
Sargent would get tenth in the 400 meters to start her senior season while Gracie Rutherford would place 25 at the 800 meter run. Sargent also had a 26th place finish in the 200 meters. Taylor Barta was 51st in the shot put. On the boys side, Trevor Caldwell had the best finish at 22nd in the shot put while Jeff Knight was 29th in the 1600 meters and 36th in the 800 meters. Landon Bame was 35th in the 400 meter run and 39th in the 200 meters to lead the Buffs in those categories. Stanley County was one of 11 Class A schools and one of a total of 32 high schools at the event.
