Three Oahe Capitals will be in Plymouth, Minnesota this weekend as the Team South Dakota High School Girls will play at the USA National Tournament in the 1A division.
Both Kallee Behm, Elliot Bertsch and Addison Hunsley will be a part of Team SD for the high school team who will have three round robin games on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with the quarterfinals and semifinals played on Saturday and then the championship to be played on Sunday. Team SD will face Sunflower Gold of Minnesota in the first game at 5:15 Wednesday evening. Then will face WEHL Western out of Wisconsin at 1:00 on Thursday and then wrapping up pool play on Friday against the Jr Steelheads out of Idaho at 9:00 AM. A total of 12 teams battle in the 1A Tier with six teams in each pool. Both Behm and Bertsch will return to the Capitals next season but Hunsley will graduate after she wrapped up her Capital career at the state tournament a couple of weekends ago.
