The Lyman Raiders boys team will look to be the second Raiders team to reach the state tournament this year as the girls will start the state tournament on Thursday. The Raiders face the Leola/Frederick Area Titans.
It’s the 7-10 matchup where the Raiders come in at 16-6 while the Titans are 17-5 on the year. The two teams were separated by 0.5 seed points which should make this a tightly contested game. Lyman has won six of the last seven games with the only loss coming against Class A Stanley County on Monday, February 23. Meanwhile the Titans have won four straight heading into tonight after stopping a three game losing streak. Lyman placed eighth last year in the Class B state tournament and looking for its third trip since 2021. The Titans are trying to get back to the state tournament since 2024 and it would only be the fourth time since Leola and Frederick have been a co-op.
Tip off is set for 7:00 at the Huron Arena tonight.
