The Stanley County Buffaloes will play one final game at home this year, in its lone region playoff game, hosting the Chamberlain Cubs tonight for a spot in the SoDak 16.
18-2 Stanley County has been off since last week Monday when the Buffs ended the year with a home win over the Lyman Raiders, avenging one of its two losses on the season. Now, the Buffs will want to use the extra rest to their advantage to get a win over Chamberlain tonight to reach the SoDak 16, the first since the 2021-22 season. Chamberlain beat Miller by nine 58-49 on Tuesday at home to reach the SoDak 16 qualifying game. The Cubs are 12-9 now on the season, and Stanley County will be looking to beat the Cubs twice this year, knocking off Chamberlain 69-57 on the road back on Thursday, February 5. The Buffs are sixth overall in Class A and would need an upset to move higher than sixth.
Tip off from the Parkview Auditorium is scheduled for 7:00 in Fort Pierre.
