The Stanley County Buffalo wrestling teams will compete at the region tournaments this weekend as the Lady Buffs will be at Rapid City Central Friday and the boys in Hill City on Saturday.
The Lady Buffaloes will compete in Region 4 on Friday as Londyn Allen-Hunsiker is the lone senior for Stanley County but at 18-7 is looking to qualify for the state tournament. Sophomores Timber Hanson and Gracie Rutherford will also look to qualify as Hanson is 15-1 and Rutherford is 23-11. 28 total teams will be at Rapid City Central Friday to try and qualify for the state tournament.
The Buffalo boys will also be out west on Saturday, at Hill City High School. Mason Stoeser, Case Kolda, Landon Bame and Coy Ludemann will be looking to qualify for the state tournament in their senior year while guys like Witt Myers who is 18-3 and Sayth Cronin who has picked up 25 wins will be trying to also qualify for the state tournament among others in the region tournament.
The Region tournament Friday is scheduled for 10:30 Central time at Rapid City Central with the boys region tournament at Hill City scheduled for 11:30 Central Time.
