(Selby, SD) – The Sully Buttes boys basketball team is on the road up north to Selby for a stand alone against Herried/Selby Area Tuesday night. The Sully Buttes Chargers are looking to extend their winning streak to three while the Wolverines look to make it four in a row.
The Chargers are coming off a 58-32 win over Gettysburg Friday night which saw them have four in double digit scoring. The Wolverines are entering 8-7 after a 60-38 win over Sunshine Bible Academy. Sully Buttes are trying to climb back up in the standings currently sitting 13th in all of Class B. They are leading the standings in Region 6B by almost three seed points. The Wolverines are currently sit seventh and are within striking distance of second. Second through seventh are operated by a 1.5 seed points.
Sully Buttes has won the last three meetings since 2023 and will look to make it a fourth win in a row. They lead the series since 2011 12-5. The last meeting was a 77-38 win for the Chargers. The Wolverines will be seeking their first win since 2022 where they won 54-48.
