PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Hughes County Commission is moving its normal Tuesday afternoon meeting to Wednesday afternoon with a full agenda for consideration. The Commission will start in special business, considering a raffle request filed for the Militianman Gun Raffle. In new business, the Commission will give first consideration to two plat requests. The first is in the Lariat Ridge Subdivision while the second is in the River Watch Estates. Commissioners will also discuss a property tax refund, and consider approvals for the Weed and Pest Board and Volunteer Rural lists. Also on the agenda for the Hughes County Commission is consideration of designating a wildland fire designee, discussion on the Blunt Highway Shop, personnel items and the Commission will hear various reports. Commissioners will also meet in executive session for two matters. One relates to security and the second qualifications and performance of any public officer or employee or prospective officer or employee.
The Hughes County Commission meets Wednesday afternoon at three-pm in the second floor Commission room. The meeting is open to the public.
