(Warner, SD) – Charger basketball hits the road for one final time in this stretch of road game in the recent days against the Monarchs. Sully Buttes and Warners will battle Saturday in the early afternoon. Country 95.3 will have the coverage.
The Sully Buttes girls enter Saturday after falling to Hitchcock-Tularae 69-39 against Hitchcock-Tulare and sit with a record of 2-11. Warner sits at 8-4 on the season after their last meeting being a 61-41 against Waverly-South Shore.
The Monarchs will look to cut the series to within a one game lead for the Charger while they extended the series to 10 wins. The Chargers lead the series since 2012 9-7. Sully Buttes pulled a one point win in their last meeting 52-21. The Chargers are 5-1 in this decade.
Sully Buttes boys are currently 8-3 on the season with their last contest being a 68-54 win against Hitchcock-Tulare. The Chargers are currently on a two streak. Warner comes off a 61-48 win against Waverly-South Shore and are 7-4 on the season.
The Monarchs led the series since 2014, it will be their 13th game since 2014. Sully Buttes are 5-7 against Hitchcock-Tulare. The Chargers did win the last meeting 77-51 and have won the last two meetings with Warner.
