In a make up dual, the Pierre Governor girls will be at home for the first time tonight before traveling to Presho on Saturday while the boys wrestling team will be in Presho both Friday and Saturday.
After having the home opening dual postponed back in mid-December, the Harrisburg Tigers will come to town tonight as the Governors look to move to 5-0 in duals on the season after beating Brookings and Yankton on the road on Tuesday. The girls will have a busy schedule of the weekend with the makeup dual and then going down to Presho for the Bride of the Monster tournament.
The boys will be in Presho starting this morning and continuing into Saturday. It’s one of the premier tournaments in the state in January and the Governors will battle a few more Class B schools with a couple of A schools mixed in. The Govs have not competed in a tournament since the Rapid City Invite over a month ago.
The Mid-Dakota Monster begins at 11:00 AM Friday morning in Presho and continues into Saturday while the girls will have its home dual against Harrisburg beginning at 6:00 with the Bride of the Monster beginning at 9:30 on Saturday.
