The Stanley County Buffaloes will be in Winner tonight for its second doubleheader of the season as the Buffalo boys look to go to 2-0 and the girls fight their first win.
After a three game week, the Lady Buffs get right back on the court and playing its fourth game of the the season but also the third time in five days after the Miller doubleheader was postponed for a day. Stanley County fell just short of beating White River on Saturday on the road in a one point loss as they’re 0-3. The Warriors are playing just its first game of the season after having the game against Wagner on Friday postponed. While Stanley County won’t have any film on Winner, the opportunity to be in game shape can serve the Lady Buffs well.
The Buffalo boys are looking to get to 2-0 after beating Miller with two big games from Eddie Duffy and Paxton Deal on Friday. The Buffs will get its first home game on Thursday when Philip comes to town, but the Buffs are playing the Warriors who also are getting its first game in after having the Wagner game postponed. Winner has just two seniors on this year’s team with seven juniors.
Tip off of the girls game will be around 6:30 with the boys game to follow at Winner High School tonight.
