The winter sport’s season has not made it far without winter weather playing a multiple day roll in postponements and cancelations. Thursday was the latest hiccup.
The Pierre Governor gymnastics team did not travel to Aberdeen Central for the Hub City Invite because of the road conditions. Stanley County was hit twice with postponements as the basketball teams traveling to Miller were postponed due to road conditions along with the wrestling team not being able to dual Philip/Kadoka Area/Wall at home. The matches were postponed. Sully Buttes also fell victim to winter weather with the triangular between the Chargers, Lyman and Highmore-Harrold was postponed.
As of now, none of the events have a make up date with most saying postponed. Pierre will not have the chance to make up the Hub City Invite.
