For already the third time this season, the Pierre Governor gymnastics team would be in a competition, this time beating Yankton at home on Monday 133.2 to 132.95.
While being the second home event for the Governors, it’s the third different location for the Govs after competing in Huron and at Riggs High School, Monday’s event took place at the Administration building.
Pierre’s Madelyn Merrill would win the bars category with a score of 8.15 while Jaelynn Muldoon would be third at 7.85. Myclane Sheppick would win the beam category with a score of 9.15 while Merrill would be at an 8.5 placing third.
