FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Hoses have the early lead in the 21st Annual Tyler Wilcox Memorial Guns ‘n Hoses Blood Drive. Abbie Arneson with LifeServe Blood Center says the cooler temperatures and day-long flurries may have kept some donors away, but there was a good showing nonetheless…
A total of 130 units of blood was donated Wednesday. The Hoses hold a 65 to 53 lead as the event heads into day two. Darla Hannum’s name was drawn as the Day One winner for the grand prize Friday. Donations move to Faith Lutheran Church on Euclid Avenue from noon until 5:30 pm. Day three will also be at Faith Lutheran but from eight am to 1:30 pm.
