The 2025 All-State teams have been released for all seven classes with Pierre Governors and Sully Buttes Chargers making their respective teams. You can see those full stories on our website.
11AAA
For 11-man teams, starting with 11AAA, Brandon Valley and Lincoln, the top two teams in the class would hold the most spots on the team. Hudson Parliament, a senior at Brandon Valley would be selected as the All-American as an offensive lineman for the Lynx. He accumulated now a three time all-state member with a three time All-ESD and has over 180 pancake blocks in his career.
11A
Sioux Falls Christian would lead 11A in All-State selections while also winning the 11A state championship. Jensen Pixler, a senior linebacker for the Chargers would be this year’s All-American. While being an All-State linebacker, Pixler also had 13 touchdowns and over 500 yards as a running back this season for Sioux Falls Christian. Madison’s Henry Veenhof, a sophomore, would be the 11A quarterback.
11B
The 11B state champions, St. Thomas More would get its first ever state title beating Elk Point-Jefferson as Max Speed would be the All-State running back. Wagner’s Gannon Knebel would be the All-American as he was selected as the All-State quarterback. He had over 3000 yards passing and 3000 yards rushing scoring nearly 70 touchdowns in his career. Only six members, with four being honorable mention were juniors. Everyone else is a senior on this year’s team.
9AA
In nine man football, starting with 9AA, Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy would get the state championship and have a total of six players on the All-State team including Riley Tschetter, the quarterback of the Phoenix. Elkton-Lake Benton’s Colt Beck would be selected for the All-State team as an athlete and would be the All-American for 11B. Beck threw for 38 touchdowns this year and finished with 4000 passing yards.
9A
In 9A, Wall was the most dominant team throughout the season picking up running clock victories in all 12 games of the season. The Eagles would place nine on the All-State teams and of course would get the All-American bid for the class with Jace Mohr, a running back, get the All-American nod. Mohr scored 28 touchdowns and had nearly 1500 yards this season as he totaled 41 touchdowns for his career and over 2200 yards.
