During the final minutes of the Seattle Seahawks loss on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, offensive lineman and Pierre native Grey Zabel went down with a leg injury which looked very serious.
However, imaging showed no ligament damage and Seahawks head coach Mike MacDonald says it’s a lot more positive than initially thought which is really fortunate…
Zabel is in the first year with the Seahawks and is making his name well known around the league as one of the top offensive lineman. The Seahawks are currently 7-3 and in second place in the NFC West, well within a spot to make the playoffs. The Seahawks reported on its official website it’s possible Zabel will miss some time due to the knee injury, but the injury is not a significant one that will keep him out long-term. Seattle faces 1-9 Tennessee Titans in Nashville on Sunday. With the Titans struggling to win all but one game this season, it might be a determining factor on how quick Zabel will return to the field.
