The Sully Buttes Chargers, even with the loss last Tuesday moved up a spot to the sixth seed and will face the three seed Highmore-Harrold tonight in the Region 6B tournament.
While three games will be played tonight, the Chargers and Pirates will play its quarterfinal game, the only of the four matchups to play while the other two games are first round matchups this evening. The Chargers finished the regular season at 7-19 while Highmore-Harrold finished at 15-12. The Pirates won four in a row prior to the season ending loss to Miller last Tuesday. Sully Buttes, on the other side, has lost four in a row going into the playoffs with its last win being against Stanley County on October 14. Sully Buttes and Highmore-Harrold played in Onida on October 7th and the Pirates won the match in four sets, dominating the first one 25-9 and then finished off the win at 21-25, 25-21 and 25-13. The winner of tonight’s game will most likely have to travel to Ipswich to face the Tigers or either one will host Gettysburg or Tiospaye Topa as the winner of that game will travel to Ipswich on Tuesday.
