FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — Fort Pierre is moving forward with fully functioning storage buildings for equipment. Trandon Walters with Brosz Engineering says for the building portion things are down to the final checklists…
That October 20th date would open the buildings up to being finished on the inside with utilities like sinks, toilets and boilers. Walters says there was confusion on the part of the bidders what was to be included in the bids…
Council member Rick Cronin asked Walters about the completion dates with the two bids…
The Fort Pierre City Council also approved at its last meeting a storage agreement with Stanley County for use of the Fairgrounds grandstand for storage until the buildings are ready. That is a month-by-month lease that can be ended when needed.
