
PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is holding a rare Tuesday night meeting due to the Native American Day holiday tonight. The Board will consider approval of a seven-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Board member and public comments will follow along with an update from the Riggs Student Senate. The Board will get a presentation from Dakota Education Consulting and will consider approval of a contract with Dakota Education Consulting after the presentation. Board members will hear a fine arts update, playground inspection report and will consider a nomination for the Associated School Boards of South Dakota delegate assembly. Other agenda items for the Pierre School Board tonight include the disposition of surplus bids for technology items, first reading of a policy revision regarding library material selection, an administrative rule waiver and donations. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 pm at the District Administration building.
