The Pierre Governor volleyball team will look for its third win of the season as they host the Huron Tigers tonight in the first of two meetings.
The Governors will see the Tigers again in Huron, two weeks from today, but tonight get to face their ESD rival in Pierre. The Govs are 2-9 on the season while Huron is 4-9. The Tigers have wins over Brookings and Aberdeen Central as they’re 2-2 in the last four games last playing on Thursday against Lincoln. Pierre will travel to Lennox on Saturday to face their one Class A team. Pierre is looking to stop its five game losing streak tonight.
Coverage will be on KCCR after Pierre soccer is concluded with first serve scheduled for 6:30. However, full game coverage will be on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Wyatt Burichka on the call. If the soccer game goes long, KCCR Sports will have the entirety of the match with the radio picking up coverage once soccer is over.
