PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Another fairly light agenda will send the Commission off into October. Only three action items are on the agenda for consideration along with a four-item consent calendar. The calendar includes approval of minutes and claims and two raffle requests filed by Beyond the Classroom and Saints Peter and Paul Alter Society. There is one items of unfinished business. Commissioners will consider approval of a final change order and payment for the 4th Street Guardrail project. Two items of new business are on the agenda. The Commission will consider an addendum to a memorandum of Understanding with the Oahe Family Y-M-C-A and a request to purchase a Vactor Truck. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
