PIERRE, (KCCR) — The window for work in 2025 to close on the Euclid Avenue reconstruction project is mid-November. Work has move so quickly, despite heavy rains through the spring and summer that some 2026 work is underway. That being the Wynoka Outfall, a storm drainage line to divert storm water from Euclid via Wynoka to Hilger’s Gulch. Morris Incorporated Operations Manager T-J Gallagher says that was slowed by more than just heavy rain…
Rain was actually a good thing two weeks ago which helped crews find a needed correction…
It rained so hard some areas had to be repaired…
Gallagher says they will be able to get asphalt paving done before it’s too cold do to so, but some sidewalks may be delayed if rains continue to slow progress.
