Governor Girls Second in Clyde Cotton Run

Over the weekend, the Pierre Governor Cross Country teams would run in Huron for the first of three trips to the Broadland Creek Golf Course at the Clyde Cotton Run.

The Governor girls would place second as a team with a score of 79, just nine points back of Brandon Valley for the team win. Pierre was led by Emery Larson would place fourth  at a time of 19:19. Gwen Richter would get 14^th and Charlee Williams-Smith would place 15^th just two second apart while Larissa Renemans was 23^rd, Elaina Rounds 29^th, and Jaclyn Richter 86^th.

The Governor boys were tenth and were led by Caleb Morris who had a top 15 finish at 13^th with a time of 17:03. Daniel Mason would place 34^th while Shane Jones was 69^th, Camden Lamb was 78^th, Ben Meyer 90^th, CJ Moses 91^st, and Ryker Parmely 98^th.
