The Pierre Governor golf team would place 18th as a team in Mitchell on Friday as the season continues to wind down with just a couple of full weeks remaining.
Matthew Eberhard would lead the Govs at 45th place at nine over par, 81 while Tate Stoeser would be 14 over par, 86, Ryker Edson 18 over par, 90, Rigley Kulesa at 19 over par, 91, Hudson Prunty a 93 and Josh Liuhdahl at a 95. O’Gorman’s Taten Mauney would win the day at three under par, 69, beating out Mitchell’s Asher Dannenbring also at three under par, 69.
Lincoln would be the team to win the team score, also tying Mitchell at three over par, 291 as nearly every Class AA team competed in the invite on Friday. Pierre would shoot a 348, six over par as a team.
Pierre will travel to Watertown on Tuesday for its next invite. Tee time is at 10:00 AM from the Cattail Golf Course.
