PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A proclamation will be made in special business for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary before considering approval of a seven-item consent calendar. Commissioners will consider awarding a construction manager at-risk for the drinking water improvement project and will hold a public hearing at 5:45 pm for a retail on-off malt beverage and South Dakota farm wine license for Zenos, doing business as Fresh Huddle at 331 South Pierre Street. In new business, The Commission will consider an engineering agreement for drinking water improvements with H-D-R Engineering and a request to discharge fireworks for the T-F Riggs Homecoming festivities. Other agenda items include change orders for fire department platform apparatus and a grant application for a terminal aerodrome study by H-W Lochner. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
