For the first time since the opening the weekend of the season, the Pierre Governor tennis team will be back at home, hosting a triangular at Griffin Park this afternoon.
Pierre will face both Aberdeen Roncalli and Rapid City Central starting at 11:00 AM this morning. Pierre has somewhat, seen both of these teams as the Govs played in the Madison and Rapid City Invites with both Roncalli and Central being in those tournaments and while some could have played both in their respective flights, the entire team has not been able to play both of these teams. It’s the second to final home games for the Governors with a dual against St. Thomas More at the end of September, so today becomes a big opportunity for the girls to play on the home courts.
Pierre faces Aberdeen Roncalli starting at 11:00 AM with the Central Cobblers dual scheduled to begin at 3:00 at Griffin Park in Pierre.
