
FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight due to the Labor Day holiday shifting the meeting from Monday to Tuesday night. City officials will present reports to the Council before getting into the main agenda. Council members will consider approval of a pay application for the Cold Storage Buildings and three temporary liquor license requests. The requests are through the Silver Spur for events at the Patty Duffy Community and Youth Involved Center on September 6th and October 18th. The Council will give introduction of the General Fund and Triple B Budget for next year and will consider a tax abatement. Two other items round out the agenda. The Council will consider a change order from First Dakota Enterprises for the Cold Storage Building and will consider an amendment to the engineering services contract the city has with Brosz Engineering. The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at six pm at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. The meeting is open to the community.
