PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is set to meet tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The Commission will consider approval of a four item consent calendar before digging into the main agenda. In Unfinished Business, Commissioners will consider a transportation alternatives grant award including approval of two grant agreements, one of which is an amendment; a memorandum of understanding with the Game, Fish and Parks Department and first reading of the city’s budget supplement. A public hearing for an airport lease is scheduled for 5:45 pm. In new business, the Commission will consider approval of a third change order for the Runway 13-31 project, second reading of building code updates and a substation maintenance and testing agreement with Revolt Electrical Services. Other agenda items include a change order for 2025 curb and gutter projects and the purchase of materials for the wastewater plants ultraviolet system. The Pierre City Commission meeting starts at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
