Ninety-three mile an hour winds near Cactus Flat in Jackson County sent a semi into the median of Interstate 90 ,closing the westbound lanes for a time. Vehicles in the Northridge Plaza parking lot were damaged by blowing debris. Other damage included large trees in Griffin Park damaging a picnic shelter. The roof of a building on Sandstone Place off Arthur Street had its roof blown off in the storm and damage happened at Down’s Marina and WalMart.
