The Oahe Zap get back on the field tonight after two days off as they host the Hastings Sodbusters for a three game series being played over the next two days.
Thursday will be a straight doubleheader between the two teams as Oahe will face the Sodbusters for just the second time this season and the first time at Hyde Stadium this summer. Oahe has gone on a tear having won four in a row again and have now won 11 of 13 to be at 16-18 overall. Hastings beat the Plainsmen on Monday to win the three game series, but have been on the downward spiral since June 11. While Sodbusters have won three of the last four, they have lost 12 of the last 20 games. This comes after the Sodbusters started the season at 10-2. Hastings lost six straight to close the month of June. Oahe still has 10 straight home games before its last road trip of the summer. There’s just 16 games remaining in the regular season.
First pitch tonight is at 6:05 from Hyde Stadium with first pitch on Thursday at 3:00 and the second game to follow.
