The Oahe Zap would come back from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Plainsmen 12-4 on Tuesday to start a winning streak for the first time this summer.
The Plainsmen would grab a 3-0 lead heading into the bottom of the fourth, but Mason Lang would have an RBI triple and then score on a wild pitch to put the Zap right back within one. And for the second straight night, Vince Pollizi would hit a grand slam to break open the lead and game for the Zap taking a 6-3 advantage. Ty Farwell joined the home run party with a two run shot in the bottom of the sixth to end the lead to 9-3 as Lang would grab another RBI before the night was over to help the Zap win its third straight, the most so far this summer. Josh Porter went six innings in the start picking up the win allowing three runs on five hits with five strikeouts.
Game two of the three game series will have first pitch tonight at 6:05 from Hyde Stadium in Pierre.
