Pierre City Commission To Hold Meeting Tonight

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The 2024 annual drinking water report will be presented to the Commission in special business before considering approval of a six-item consent calendar. In unfinished business, a public hearing will be held at 5:45 pm for public progress hearing connected to a Community Development Block Grant obtained by Missouri Shores Domestic Violence Center for the House of Hope shelter. Commissioners will consider a street closure request by the Street Masters Car Club for the Dam Run and Gravity Drags on August 9th and renewal of alcohol licenses for Deb’s Feed Store. The Commission will consider an agreement with Brosz Engineering for design of water distribution services on North Monroe along with a change order for the Runway 13-31 project. Other agenda items include an agreement with H-D-R Engineering for miscellaneous Water Department services and a software agreement with OpenGov. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
