PIERRE, (KCCR) — There are light agendas..and then there are whatever the Pierre City Commission is set to consider tonight. Another in a series of brief agendas will come before the Commission tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A five-item consent calendar awaits approval by the Commission. The calendar includes the claims and minutes from last week’s meeting along with a new hire in the Water Department, a raffle request filed by the Right Turn and the setting of a public hearing for July 1st at 5:45 pm for a petition to Vacate Legacy Avenue. There is no unfinished business for consideration and two items of new business. Commissioners will consider approval of ten temporary special event liquor licenses filed by Larkspur Landing Event Center for events on June 12th, August 23rd, September 20th and 27th, October 4th, 10th, 17, and 25th and November 8th and 29th. The Commission will also canvass election results from the June 3rd City Commission election. Commissioners will present any dialogue they have before the meeting ends. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
