Pierre Mayor Steve Harding will give the crew a tour of Pierre Wednesday including a visit to the State Capitol and Governor Larry Rhoden. On Friday, the crew will volunteer packing food boxes at Feeding South Dakota and are looking for any helping hands to assist them….
A meet and greet with the crew is Wednesday night at the American Legion Cabin from five to seven pm. The sailors will also be hiking on Farm Island before heading back to the Pierre’s home port of San Diego. The Pierre’s commissioning is set for November 8th in Panama City Beach, Florida.
