A total of 13 teams would gather in Miller on Tuesday for the Rustlers home invite which included five local teams.
Sully Buttes
The Sully Buttes Chargers would garner two wins as Kaydn Westergren would win the shot put throw and Payge Bakker would get the discus win. Bakker also placed fourth in the shot put and Westergren fourth in the discus. Olivis Olson had a second place finish in the 200 meters while also placing fourth in the 100 and 200 meter runs. The team of Jane Yackley, Elliana Nelson, Annaliese Van Zee and Jaycee Jaeger would finish fourth in the 4×100 relay.
Stanley County
Stanley County would also get two wins in Miller as the Buffaloes saw a victory from Paxton Deal in the long jump and Spencer Sargent in the 800 meters. Landon Bame was second in the 100 and 200 meters and then third in the 400 meters. Brendon Bothwell, Ryland Magee, Justin Trebbe and Sargent were third in the 4×800 and Deal, Magee, Witt Myers and Eddie Duffy were third in the sprint medley relay race. Trevor Cadwell was second in the shot put and Jace Hand was second in the javelin. For the girls, Libby Harrington, Addy Deal, Raegan Taylor and Emily Nemec were second in the 4×100 while Taylor was third in the triple jump and Brianna Sargent was third in the 400 meters.
Miller
The host Miller Rustlers had six wins overall as Paige Werdel would win the long jump, Aleah Schlechter in the javelin and Faith Baumberger in the shot put. The three boys wins would be Pierce Baumberger in the 3200 meter run while Isaak Hunter won both the 110 and 300 meter hurdles.
Highmore-Harrold
Highmore-Harrold picked up three wins on the girls side as Whitley Baloun would win both the 400 meter run and the 100 meter hurdles. Autumn Fallis would win the 1600 meter run while place second in the 800 meters. Destiny McCauley was second in the discus and Addison McDonnell was third in the shot put. For the boys, Jordan Erfman was fourth in both the 800 and 1600 meter runs.
Lyman
Four wins for the Lyman Raiders as Bree Smart would win the 300 meter hurdles and Brooke Montgomery in the 100 and 200 meter runs. Dawsen Volmer grabbed the win in the high jump for the Raiders while Cole Kieffer was second in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles and Desmerius McGhee second in the discus. Chloe Collins was second in the 100 meter hurdles and the team of Kenzie Wagner, Jordyn Scott, Smart and Montgomery were second in the 4×200.
