The Pierre Governor golf team would host its lone invite of the season on Tuesday with the Govs placing seventh as a team and Hadley Hart placing inside the top 20 at Hillsview Golf Course.
The Governors were led by Hart who placed 16th with a 15 over par, 86 on the day. Hart parred seven holes. Sittie Kasan placed tied for 29th at 23 over par, 94 while Sierra Prunty shot a 99, 28 over par. Drew Rechtenbaugh would shoot a 107 and Charlotte Brakke a 108. Pierre also had some JV golfers at the event as Katie Reiss led the Pierre white team with a 116, while Ava Gray would shoot a 119 and Taylor Crawford a 126.
Aberdeen Central would win the team score shooting 25 over par as a team while Mitchell would finish four shots back at 29 over par. Pierre would finish at +102 to be in seventh just three shots back of the Watertown Arrows.
Aberdeen Central’s Olivia Braun would win the day, seven shots better than second place as she secured a four under par, 67. Watertown’s Gavi Olson would tie Aberdeen Central’s Kyley Wirebaugh for second at three over par, 74.
