PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board gave first reading Monday night to a policy revision on the district’s rate use fees for facilities for rental. Business Manager Travis Dovre says there hasn’t been a change in the rates charged for the use of school buildings in few years…
Dovre says before the 2022 adjustment the rates hadn’t been changed in a number of years and making this change will help the District keep the rates on pace with inflation. The bigger change better defines what gym spacing is able to be rented…

Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt says more discussions on the rates will take place as the Pierre School Board begins budget preparation.
